Having your blog in the Google index is not enough to make your blog popular. So these are some tips to make your blog more popular
1. Open https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
2. Fill in the empty field under "Submit a website or Webpage"
3. Click Add URL
4. Fill in the empty field under "Submit site feed" if you have one and then click Submit
